What is a perfume oil?

Unlike alcohol-based perfumes, our perfume oils are pure fragrance concentrates with no alcohol. They are gentler on the skin, longer lasting, and more intimate — the scent stays close to your skin rather than projecting outward.

Is Mitti — First Rain safe for sensitive skin?

Our perfume oils are skin-safe and crafted with care. However, we recommend doing a patch test on your inner wrist before full application, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. House of Shivis products are not tested on animals.

How long does the fragrance last?

Perfume oils typically last 4–6 hours on skin. Applying to pulse points (wrists, neck, behind ears) enhances longevity.

How do I apply perfume oil?

Dab or roll a small amount onto your pulse points. A little goes a long way — start with less and build up as needed.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within India only.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location.

How do I track my order?

Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email or SMS.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and Cash on Delivery (COD).

Returns & Refunds

Can I return my order?

Due to the nature of perfume oils, we do not accept returns once delivered. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at houseofshivis@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the damage. We will make it right.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement. Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible.
